As a key member of the ZEISS team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's intellectual property strategy. Your expertise in patent law will be instrumental in advising colleagues on business decisions related to intellectual property.
Key Responsibilities- Manage grant procedures before IP offices in collaboration with patent attorneys in Germany and abroad, and conduct procedures independently when necessary.
- Evaluate third-party rights and defend against them by conducting opposition procedures before the EPO and DPMA.
- Advise development divisions on third-party property rights and ensure their consideration in business decisions.
- Enforce ZEISS's IP rights against third parties using available legal actions.
- Develop contracts related to intellectual property rights and negotiate with stakeholders.
