Your Role at Alstom

We are looking for a technical project manager to join our team at our Braunschweig location. The position is full-time.

Your Responsibilities

  • Technical project management in customer projects for DB AG.
  • Interface partner for the customer for technical clarification of queries in the field of software and hardware for customer installations.
  • Detail coordination/planning with customers/internal project planning departments/external suppliers.
  • Representation of the project manager with a focus on technology.
  • Management of the procurement and purchasing process in customer projects.
  • Participation in offers for new installations and renovations.
  • Organization of the creation and delivery of project documentation.
  • Creation and verification, primarily but validation of project documentation.
  • Support for validation, auditors, authorities, acceptance testers, and operators.

Your Profile

  • Completed university degree (civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, etc.) or technical training with several years of professional experience.
  • Professional experience in project management, primarily in coordinating positions.
  • Technical knowledge in the field of electrical engineering, building construction, and installation of railway systems.
  • Experience in planning and setting up installations for DB AG is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of relevant load lists, rules, and standards for railway systems in Germany is an advantage.
  • High level of commitment and resilience, as well as independent working style.
  • Good team and communication skills.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office and similar standard applications.
  • Fluent German and very good English skills in writing and speaking.
