Your RoleAs a Mining Engineer at Royal IHC, you will join a dedicated team that assists clients worldwide in advancing their (wet) mining initiatives. This often involves pushing existing limits and crafting innovative (underwater) mining and slurry transport strategies.
Your responsibilities will include conducting mining studies that may be integral at various phases of a mine's lifecycle. In addition to initiating new projects, you will also travel to mining sites to support clients in enhancing their current operations.
Collaboration is key; you will work alongside other Royal IHC Business Units, consulting firms, and suppliers to deliver optimal solutions and services to our clients.
Key Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in mining or related fields (e.g., Applied Earth Sciences, Civil Engineering, Geosciences, Mining and Petroleum Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geophysical Engineering, or Mineral Engineering).
- Three to five years of relevant experience in mine planning, mining operations, or advisory roles;
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written;
- Residence in the Netherlands.
- Experience with Mine Planning and Mine design software (such as Datamine, Surpac, Deswik, or Autocad) is preferred.
