About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Accountant/Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing the data basis for intercompany settlements, managing month-end closing processes, and supporting finance managers with related financial issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the data basis for IC cross-charging and conduct intercompany settlements in accordance with internal and legal requirements.
- Manage the month-end closing processes for different European subsidiaries and support finance managers with related financial issues.
- Prepare financial and management reports for subsidiaries in the EMEA region.
- Support internal and external audits as well as local and global projects with a financial focus.
- Conduct product costings, analyze the results, and recommend measures to optimize and reduce costs.
- Create ad hoc analyses and prepare recommendations as required.
- Be actively involved in the further development and optimization of our controlling instruments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/business administration or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience in the FICO area of an international company.
- Analytical skills with a structured and responsible way of working.
- Sound knowledge of the SAP FI/CO modules, with experience in related modules such as MM, SD, BW, PM, PS, and DW being advantageous.
- Good communication skills in English.
