Power Grid Specialist for West Mecklenburg

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at WEMAG Netz GmbH in Neustadt-Glewe. As a Network Technician for Installation and Maintenance, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our power grid in West Mecklenburg.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement technical solutions for network connections and maintenance
  • Conduct technical inspections and approvals of network projects and connection documents
  • Process and document connection projects in our workflow system
  • Prepare and issue internal project orders
  • Perform technical acceptance tests in the medium- and low-voltage network
  • Support the development of guidelines for operation and maintenance
  • Organize material releases and material provisioning after coordination
  • Participate in the development and implementation of automation and digitalization approaches in the medium- and low-voltage network
  • Assist in preparing and issuing statements in the context of government involvement
  • Participate in investigating and clarifying disturbances in the medium- and low-voltage network
  • Take over tasks in the network operation of the network service station as needed (disturbance case)
  • Participate in the standby duty
  • Take over the representation of other network technicians for installation and maintenance in their absence

Requirements

  • Completed electrical engineering training
  • Knowledge of MS Office and SAP
  • Knowledge of NIS
  • Authorization for switching
  • Conceptual skills and customer-oriented action
  • Team and communication skills
  • Secure/convincing appearance
  • Driving license for car
