Job Overview

In this position, you will engage in both theoretical and practical phases of your education. During the theoretical segments, you will study various subjects such as construction engineering, technical mechanics, applied mathematics and physics, as well as business administration, legal studies, and digitalization in the construction sector. In the practical phases, you will work within the municipal office, particularly in the wastewater management division and the civil engineering department. Here, you will assist in daily operations and manage your own projects independently. You will also have the opportunity to explore other departments within the municipal office and collaborate with external partners to gain a comprehensive understanding of the responsibilities of a building authority.

This educational program spans a duration of three years.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess certain academic and professional qualifications, including:

  • General or subject-specific higher education entrance qualification (Abitur)
  • Technical college entrance qualification (admission to the program may be possible with proven special aptitude)
  • Strong knowledge in mathematics, physics, and chemistry
  • Basic understanding of commercial and administrative law topics (preferred)
