Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team in Karlsdorf-Neuthard, Germany. As a Software Developer, you will play a key role in the development of our logistics systems, focusing on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Responsibilities- Analyze business requirements for technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure quality through automated and manual testing, ensuring smooth operational transitions.
- Maintain documentation for new features and necessary updates.
- Contribute to system architecture, methods, blueprints, and cross-cutting implementations.
- Participate in projects, often related to new customer implementations and go-live processes.
- Handle complex issues in 3rd-level support.
- Education: Degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in C#/.NET development.
- Experience in logistics software or warehouse management systems.
- Familiarity with the interplay between Microsoft.NET applications and MS T-SQL Server.
- C# and logistics software development experience.
- Blazor and CleanCoding practices (nice-to-have).
- Self-driven, analytical, strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service orientation.
- Confident, open, communicative, and flexible.
- Ability to work independently and provide valuable development insights.
- Initial Interview: HR and a technical team member to assess technical skills (including live coding challenge).
- Second Interview: On-site with CIO Oliver, discussing technical and personal aspects.
- Follow-up Discussion and Offer: Final discussion with CIO and job offer.
The team size is 6 direct colleagues, and you will report to the Development & SAP Department Head. You will have day-to-day interactions with team members, HELIS Competence Center, and logistics staff.
Role Specifics- Contract Type: Open-ended.
- Hours per Week: 40 hours (32 hours not possible).
- Vacation Days: 30 days.
- Probation Period: 6 months.
