Your Responsibilities
As the Operational Supply Chain and Logistics Manager (m/f/d), you will serve as a pivotal Change Agent within our supply chain and logistics division, shaping the operational processes across our European manufacturing facilities. Collaboration with a dedicated team of local SCM experts will be essential. You will oversee the creation and enhancement of SAP methodologies, systems, and tools aimed at minimizing lead times and inventory levels throughout the supply chain, while also striving to lower logistics expenses. Additionally, you will act as the key liaison between the SAP process owners for the various SAP modules (MM, PP, SD, WM) and the operational SCM workflows in the production facilities. Furthermore, you will take on the role of a proactive initiator, mentor, and implementer at the sites, promoting the integration of a lean mindset within the supply chain and introducing innovative concepts. You will be accountable for executing the established supply chain and logistics processes in collaboration with local logistics managers at the production sites, ensuring continuous advancement.Your Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, operations, or business administration is required. You should possess several years of relevant professional experience in operational supply chain and logistics. A self-directed and organized work approach, along with a swift understanding of complex concepts, is essential. Proficiency in both German and English, coupled with excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit, is expected. Comprehensive knowledge of SAP modules MM, PP, WM, GIB, and MS Office, as well as fluency in written and spoken German and English, are mandatory. A readiness to travel across Europe is also a requirement for this role.
