Our international team in Jena develops innovative, customer-specific solutions for leading global brands. Jabil has over 140,000 employees worldwide.

In our Optics Design Center in Jena, we develop opto-electro-mechanical design solutions for AR/VR glasses, autonomous driving (LiDAR, Driver Monitoring, ADAS camera systems, Eye Tracking), robotics, action cameras, smartphones, endoscopes, and many other applications.

Sr. Design Project Manager for the Development of Opto-Electro-Mechanical Systems

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our design project team in the development of opto-electro-mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design project management, opto-electro-mechanical engineering, and experience in leading cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading design project teams in the development of opto-electro-mechanical systems
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery
  • Developing and implementing design project plans and schedules
  • Ensuring design project quality and compliance with company standards
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and prioritize design project requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong background in design project management and opto-electro-mechanical engineering
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
