As a Lead Consultant in the Financial Services Finance & Risk & Compliance Services sector, you will work alongside your team to advise clients from the financial industry on enhancing risk modeling approaches and risk management, engaging with regulatory and supervisory matters, as well as transforming accounting and corporate governance.
Your Responsibilities
If you approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, you can contribute in the following areas:
- Consultation: You will provide guidance to our clients on all aspects of risk management and overall bank governance, including:
- Governance & Framework: Risk appetite & strategy, methods & tools for risk identification and assessment, and fostering a risk culture.
- ICAAP/ILAAP: Capital and liquidity planning, comprehensive stress testing, and optimizing processes in risk controlling and credit market follow-up.
- Development and Implementation of Risk Models: In areas such as credit, market price, interest, liquidity risk, or non-financial/operational risks.
- Project Management: Actively support the operational leadership of strategy, conceptualization, and implementation projects in the relevant fields.
- Client Management: As a point of contact, you will take responsibility for managing our clients.
- Education: Degree in Business Administration, (Business) Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Psychology, or a related field.
- Professional Experience: At least two years of experience in risk management or controlling, bank governance, or financial controlling within banks, other financial service providers, or consulting firms.
- Consulting or Extensive Project Experience: Initial experience as a (partial) project leader is advantageous.
- Data Analytics Skills: Familiarity with tools such as SAS and R is desirable.
- Strong Communication Skills: Analytical abilities, high commitment, customer-oriented thinking, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to Travel: Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
