Job Summary

Samsung is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Procurement Specialist to join our International Procurement Centre in Schwalbach, Germany.

As a Junior Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing companies that supply components and materials for our products. You will introduce and promote competitive companies to satisfy the requirements of our R&D and Procurement teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and evaluate companies that supply components and materials for our products
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address supply chain issues
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and technologies
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier performance and reduce costs
  • Support the development of new business opportunities and partnerships

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in Korean and English
  • German/EU work visa and driving license holder
