Position Summary
We are seeking a Chemical Laboratory Technician (m/f/d) to bolster our Manufacturing / Synthesis department focused on functionalized synthetic polymers or bioconjugates in accordance with GMP standards at our Berlin location.
Key Responsibilities
Following a comprehensive training period, you will engage in laboratory developments for the synthesis of polymers and polymer conjugates. Subsequently, you will scale these processes to pilot scale within a GMP framework under the supervision of the Manufacturing Manager.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting syntheses at the laboratory scale
- Executing syntheses and conjugations in 10 and 50 L reactors (pilot scale) under controlled clean room conditions
- Developing and adhering to work instructions (SOP)
- Assisting the Manufacturing Manager and Laboratory Manager in upholding quality standards
- Performing analyses for in-process control utilizing HPLC techniques
- Contributing to process development and its transition to pilot scale
- Maintaining GMP-compliant documentation of all activities
Candidate Profile
- Qualified Chemical Laboratory Technician or a Master's degree in Chemistry or Polymer Science
- Experience in organic synthesis chemistry, polymer synthesis for pharmaceutical or medical technology applications, or pilot scale production is advantageous
- Strong technical acumen
- Proficient IT skills (Office Programs)
- Excellent command of the German language
- Familiarity with production in a regulated environment / GMP knowledge is a plus
