About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at Liquid Reply GmbH. As a FinOps Expert, you will play a crucial role in empowering enterprise decision makers and pioneers to address cloud spend complexity and leverage their full cloud resource potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, manage, and deliver innovative FinOps projects in collaboration with a highly motivated team and in alignment with client expectations and business needs.
  • Own client relationships and provide support throughout the FinOps Lifecycle (Inform, Optimize, Operate).
  • Develop FinOps Best Practices from the ground up and implement them with FinOps principles for clients.
  • Target group-specific communication with stakeholders from Business, Finance, and IT.
  • Prepare and execute FinOps trainings, talks, and create blog posts.
  • Promote FinOps topic development within Reply and the FinOps Foundation.
  • Contribute to extending the offering with new opportunities, such as FinOps for sustainability.
Requirements
  • Completed university studies in business computer science, economics, business mathematics, or similar.
  • First experience in managing IT projects, preferably with Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall Methodology.
  • Strong customer orientation, communication skills, conflict resolution, and self-initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, interest in ambitious work, flexibility, and willingness to be challenged in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure) or FinOps Practitioner desirable.
  • First experience with cloud cost management tools (e.g., Cloudability, infracost, kubecost) desirable.
  • Very good communication skills in English and German, with a willingness to travel.
