Drive Innovation in Computational Imaging at ZEISS

As a pivotal member of the Global Algorithms & Software Semiconductor Mask Solutions team, you will play a key role in shaping the future of digital imaging technology.

Your expertise in sophisticated algorithms will enable the analysis of vast quantities of image data with exceptional efficiency. This capability is crucial for enhancing the performance of our intricate photomask systems, which are fundamental to the production of flawless microchips.

Your Responsibilities

You will oversee multiple sub-product teams dedicated to developing computational models, image processing techniques, high-performance computing solutions, and software innovations that contribute to the overarching product vision.

Your role involves identifying and negotiating development requirements with both internal and external stakeholders. You will coordinate complex interfaces while leveraging your technical acumen to ensure product alignment. Additionally, you will be accountable for monitoring development progress and refining the product vision.

Your Qualifications

  • A completed degree in physics, computer science, engineering, or applied mathematics with outstanding results.
  • Extensive professional experience in product management, project management, or as a product owner within a SCRUM team, preferably in algorithm development within the semiconductor sector.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning and traditional image processing, coupled with a solid understanding of geometric and physical optics.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++, with additional experience in parallel computing (CUDA, OpenMP, Cloud) being advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to assertively advocate for your team and foster collaboration.
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
  • A genuine passion for tackling intricate challenges both independently and collaboratively.
