Vishay Electronic GmbH, a leading manufacturer of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components, is seeking a highly skilled Field Application Engineer to join our team in Selb or Heilbronn. As a key member of our Business Development Automotive team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and expanding our presence in the automotive market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement IN and WIN strategies for Vishay Semiconductors and passive Components at our focus automotive customers
  • Maximize future business opportunities by identifying potential sockets in applications and leveraging the BOM content of Vishay's broadline portfolio
  • Collaborate with Marketing and R&D to define new products and derivatives
  • Act as the internal technical interface between Sales, Marketing, and R&D
  • Manage projects to achieve product qualification and revenue growth
  • Develop and deliver technical and application trainings

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in semiconductor and/or passive component technology
  • HW design experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • MS Office skills
  • Excellent German and English language skills, with additional language skills a plus
  • Willingness to travel in Germany and Europe
