Cyber Security Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team at METRO AG. As a leading international food wholesaler, we cater to the needs of hotels, restaurants, caterers, and independent merchants. With a unique multichannel mix, we offer flexibility in purchasing goods in-store or via our digitally connected Food Service Distribution delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain METRO AG's IT and Network infrastructure with a focus on security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance, enhance security measures, and implement best practices.
- Plan, architect, and formulate designs for Network & Edge security technologies, including micro-segmentation, zero-trust, access, security mechanisms, third-party access, SLA, backup, monitoring, etc.
- Offer tools and technology to facilitate the effective operation of the Network Edge security framework, such as SD-WAN, SWG, CASB, FWaaS, Intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), etc.
- Design and implement system hardening to minimize security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive patch management strategy to ensure systems are up to date with the latest security patches.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive backup/redundant plan for different data storages, systems.
- Degree related to information security, cybersecurity, or relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in firewall management process and policies, information security and cybersecurity.
- Deep knowledge of technical information security measures including Application Security, Cloud Security, and Security Automation.
- Proven ability to stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in information security and cybersecurity.
