Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineer (m|f|d) Hydropower Control Technology to join our team at Voith Hydro GmbH & Co. KG | VHH.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute technical plans for hydropower control system projects based on Siemens and Rockwell control systems.
  • Design system concepts based on project tenders and customer-specific requirements.
  • Lead hardware and software engineering during the entire planning phase.
  • Create PLC programs and visualization solutions.
  • Plan communication and network systems, considering cyber security requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines and quality standards.
  • Prepare technical documentation for signal lists, requirement specifications, and final documentation.
  • Oversee the commissioning of control systems worldwide.
Your Profile
  • Degree in electrical engineering, automation, or information technology.
  • Experience with Siemens PCS7 / Rockwell Studio 5000 and MS Office.
  • Excellent German and English language skills, with additional foreign language skills advantageous.
  • Result-oriented, analytical, and team-oriented, with a high level of commitment and initial intercultural experience.
  • Unlimited readiness for regular and, if necessary, longer business trips and assignments on construction sites worldwide.
