Role Expectations

As a Rust Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing core platform features, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with customer needs.
  • Collaborating closely with product and design teams to bring new ideas from concept to production, ensuring a smooth and efficient development process.
  • Utilizing your full-stack expertise to create a cohesive and integrated user experience, bridging the gap between frontend and backend development.
  • Architecting and maintaining REST APIs, ensuring they are backed by stable, scalable server-side implementations and maximize flexibility for web clients.
  • Continuously refining and improving platform features, optimizing for performance, scalability, and user experience.
Your Profile

We are looking for a highly skilled Rust Backend Engineer with:

  • A strong technical background, preferably with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with 3+ years of experience in full-stack development roles.
  • Proficiency in a diverse set of programming languages and frameworks, including JavaScript, React, Python, and most importantly, Rust. Experience with TypeScript and other technologies is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in both frontend and backend development, including API design, database management, and creating user interfaces that delight users.
  • Familiarity with cloud services, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, that support scalable application deployment.
  • A passion for building high-quality software that drives value for users, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
