Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dentist to join our team on board Logos Hope. As a Dental Officer, you will be responsible for providing dental care and treatment to crew, staff, and guests on board.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run and maintain the Dental Clinic on a regular basis, ensuring it is safe for sailing and equipped with the necessary medications and supplies.
  • Provide dental care and treatment to crew, staff, and guests, including routine check-ups, fillings, and extractions.
  • Document patient records in our database system and maintain accurate records of treatments and medications.
  • Advise and coordinate with shore-based medical facilities when patients require dental care or diagnostics.
  • Participate in emergency drills, including fire and Abandon Ship Drills, and fulfill specific duties as stated on the Muster List.

Requirements

  • Completed studies/education as a Dentist.
  • A full valid license to practice as a Dentist.
  • Work experience as a Dentist.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Good communication and people skills.
  • Service focus and ability to work independently.
