About the Role:
Creative City Berlin is seeking a highly skilled and experienced International Legal Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for negotiating contracts, managing international releases, and overseeing the legal aspects of film production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate sales contracts and agreements with clients and producers
- Manage international releases and holdbacks
- Supervise clients' royalties reportings
- Work closely with sales and production teams on funding applications and grants
- Manage an intern and provide legal support to the finance department
Requirements:
- Fluent in English and either German or French
- Master's degree in law and intellectual property or further education in law
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience in a legal department of a production or sales company
- Solid understanding of international audiovisual law
- Perfectionist with high attention to detail and meeting deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with people of various nationalities
