Adepto Technical Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Propulsion Systems Test Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Laboratory Testing department, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of test campaigns on the propulsion system, from initial request to data delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Test Request Review and Refinement: Collaborate with the design team to review and refine test requests, ensuring effective testing processes that enhance product performance.
- Test Concept Development: Develop test concepts and detailed designs for test and measurement setups, considering safety and accuracy.
- Test Execution and Coordination: Plan and execute tests, coordinating with technicians, suppliers, and support teams to ensure smooth test preparation and execution.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data, process results, and report findings, providing feedback to the design team for ongoing product improvements.
- Engineering Documentation: Create and review engineering documentation related to test setups and results, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Team Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Act as a role model for safety standards in the laboratory, continuously learning and sharing knowledge with the team about testing methodologies and equipment.
- Education: University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields (M.Sc/M.Eng preferred).
- Experience: Solid experience in propulsion testing, measurement methods, and instrumentation, with proficiency in data analysis and post-processing.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to challenge assumptions, and high level of self-reliance, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Language: Fluent English (C1 level) is essential; knowledge of German or other languages is a plus.
