Team Leader and Software Product Owner

Position Overview: As a Team Leader and Product Owner, you will oversee a group of 10-12 software engineers, ensuring effective coordination and prioritization of tasks within our software modules, specifically for Common Software. You will act as a liaison for product and project managers in a global setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directing a team of software engineers tasked with the implementation of software modules and processes within the dSPACE Common Module Framework.
  • Evaluating and prioritizing technical requirements for the Common Software development team in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Facilitating coordination among a diverse group of functional project leaders within the Common Modules Framework.
  • Implementing agile methodologies in accordance with the SAFe framework and working alongside both agile and traditional development teams.

Candidate Profile:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in software development, including roles such as Project Manager or Product Owner.
  • Proficient in Azure DevOps Server, Git, Git-LFS, and Artifactory.
  • Familiarity with community-driven development practices, including 'Inner Source' or 'Open Source'.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a background in agile collaboration.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
