Electrical Systems Specialist

At Rocket Factory Augsburg, we're revolutionizing space services and enhancing life on Earth. As an Electrician, you'll play a crucial role in creating low-cost, flexible, and reliable access to space.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement electrical wiring tasks on test rigs integrating various sensors
  • Install and wire building facilities with electrical systems
  • Assemble and wire control cabinets and test systems
  • Develop electrical test system designs leveraging off-the-shelf industrial components, particularly DIN rail mounted electronic control equipment with 24V systems
  • Perform light fabrication and machining using common hand and power tools
  • Review electrical drawings and make corrections when necessary

Your Qualifications

  • Valid electrical license
  • 2+ years of work experience in electrical control systems or electronics
  • Exposure to common sensors, transducers, and actuators
  • Experience with test and troubleshooting equipment, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Experience with LabVIEW and National Instruments hardware is highly regarded
  • Practical, hands-on experience with electrical or mechanical projects
  • Fluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)
  • Target-oriented work approach with analytic problem-solving skills
