Avionics Expert

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Avionics Expert to join our team at Bishop GmbH. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and solutions to our customers in the aerospace industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, analyze, and classify technical issues from our customer fleet, and develop solutions in collaboration with our development team, suppliers, and quality assurance department.
- Coordinate and implement complex technical solutions for fleet-wide issues, working closely with our development team, suppliers, and program support office.
- Contribute to the development of new products and services, taking into account customer needs and requirements.
- Establish and maintain close relationships with key suppliers to promote product reliability and quality.
- Validate technical aspects of service bulletins (SB) and participate in incident investigations and root cause analyses.
- Provide technical support to experts to ensure the airworthiness of our customer fleet.
- Evaluate and filter relevant data from technical events during operation and provide insights to our development team.
- Improve fleet availability and reduce downtime.
- Occasionally travel to customer sites for on-site troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Requirements:
- High level of customer orientation and ability to foster customer relationships.
- Excellent team and communication skills.
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
- Willingness to travel and be on call.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
Language Skills:
- Fluent in German and English.
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in the operation of aircraft.
- Excellent knowledge of avionics systems.
