About the Global Portable Security (GPS) Unit

The Global Portable Security business unit encompasses leading brands such as AXA, Trelock, and Kryptonite. Our mission is to leverage these brands to provide innovative security solutions tailored for cyclists and homeowners alike.

Position Overview

In the DACH region, maintaining strong customer relationships is crucial for our success. We are seeking an OEM Account Manager who embodies a proactive approach to customer satisfaction.

As part of the Global OEM team, you will collaborate closely with the OEM Sales Manager for the DACH region. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement strategies for growth, focusing on managing and enhancing sales with existing accounts. Utilizing your market insights and customer relationships, you will contribute valuable feedback to our product management and engineering teams to facilitate the development of new or customized products.

You will report directly to the Global OEM Sales Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance customer satisfaction through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive profitable growth in the DACH region by maximizing existing market share and identifying new growth opportunities.
  • Secure lock and light specifications with current customers.
  • Foster effective collaboration with customer service, marketing, and back-office support teams, including finance and supply chain.
  • Contribute to the Annual Operating Plan, margin plan, and forecasts.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and renewals, maintaining regular communication with customer service teams.
  • Provide monthly reports on account plans, revenue forecasts, and activities aimed at achieving our objectives.

Qualifications

  • A university degree and a minimum of 6 years of experience in a commercial role, preferably within the bicycle industry.
  • A proven history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong ability to execute tasks and close deals effectively.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and motivate team members.
  • Fluency in German and proficiency in English.
