We are seeking a talented Laboratory Specialist to enhance our research initiatives and laboratory functions. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong interest in plant compositional evaluation and NIRS Spectroscopy.
Primary Duties:
- Conduct wet chemistry and NIRS assessments for a variety of crops
- Refine analytical techniques and remain informed about emerging technologies
- Create and validate NIRS predictive models
- Manage and maintain laboratory equipment
- Offer technical guidance and supervise a team of researchers
- Oversee IT and computer-related responsibilities for the laboratory
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Biology or Chemistry with relevant industry experience
- Proficiency in plant analysis and NIRS Spectroscopy
- Knowledge in chemometrics, statistics, and data science
- Strong computer skills and ability to collaborate effectively
- Meticulous attention to detail and dedication to ongoing improvement
- Fluent communication skills in German and English
