Your Impact:

• You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and modernizing our backup infrastructure, including planning and executing regular disaster recovery tests.
• Modernizing our technical disaster recovery strategy will be a key focus.
• You will monitor progress, generate regular reports, and provide actionable recommendations.
• As a point of contact for troubleshooting and error analysis, you will ensure uninterrupted 24/7 operations.
• You will drive new projects with professionalism and a willingness to think outside the box.
• Documenting the system landscape and implementing IT security requirements will be part of your responsibilities.

Your Qualifications:

• A degree in (Business) Informatics or a related IT field.
• Several years of experience in disaster recovery scenarios.
• Strong knowledge of backup hardware and software (e.g., Tape Libraries, Data Domain, Backup to Disk, Veeam, and Spectrum Protect).
• Fundamental understanding of server, storage, and virtual infrastructures (e.g., Dell Servers, Pure Storage, NetApp, SAN, VMware, VxRail, and OpenShift).
• Desirable knowledge of hybrid infrastructures (On-Premises, Cloud).
• A structured, self-reliant work style combined with strong communication skills.
• The ability to conceptualize modern technical structures.
• Proficient in both German and English, spoken and written.
