Experienced Backend Solutions Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer at SAP LeanIX, you will play a crucial role in our cross-functional Engineering teams, focusing on the development of scalable and secure microservices and APIs across various product domains. Your expertise will not only contribute as an individual contributor but also enhance team performance through a strong customer-oriented approach and a commitment to taking ownership of both product capabilities and technical components in both frontend and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and secure microservices using Kotlin.
  • Continuously enhance our microservice architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and codebases.
  • Take initiative and lead projects that align with our product vision and your personal interests.
  • Collaborate with passionate colleagues eager to share knowledge and learn from one another.
  • Contribute to shaping our work processes by introducing technologies that can improve our daily operations or product offerings.

Our Technology Stack Includes:

  • Microservices developed in Kotlin.
  • Container orchestration with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • API technologies, including GraphQL and REST.
  • Modern CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and Terraform.
  • Monitoring and alerting solutions like Instana.
  • Product usage analytics with tools like Pendo.

  • An open and communicative style.
