Senior Finance Specialist for Revenue Recognition

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Specialist to join our team in Revenue Recognition. As a key member of our Commercial Finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate recognition of revenue from cloud, software, and professional services contracts in accordance with IFRS 15.
Key Responsibilities- Independently review and process complex customer contracts and transactions to ensure accurate revenue recognition in accordance with SAP guidelines and IFRS 15.
- Collaborate with Commercial Finance, Sales, Controlling, and Legal departments to structure customer contracts and ensure compliance with IFRS 15.
- Coordinate and conduct SOX controls to ensure the accuracy and completeness of revenue recognition.
- Ensure the correct processing of contracts in the monthly closing process, including the use of the SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) tool.
- Act as a point of contact for auditors on revenue recognition matters.
- Develop training materials and actively participate in the implementation of training programs.
- Contribute to Global Commercial Finance (GCF) projects and programs.
- Completed degree in a field related to finance, accounting, or business.
- Relevant experience in finance, preferably with a Big Four accounting firm.
- Excellent German and English language skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
