In the role of Key Account Executive, your main duty will be to act as the primary liaison for clients in the Construction Adhesives domain, enhancing H.B. Fuller's footprint with a particular emphasis on the German market. You will be instrumental in aligning corporate goals with client needs, proactively identifying and fulfilling their requirements. Utilizing your established industry relationships and network, you will formulate and implement strategic initiatives for designated accounts, ensuring smooth coordination of activities and optimal use of available resources.

Core Responsibilities:

Craft and manage detailed strategic initiatives customized for the Construction Adhesives Sales Team, covering adhesives, sealants, and tapes.Facilitate the implementation of strategic initiatives through clear communication, activity management, and the mobilization of indirect resources.Build a strong sales pipeline to leverage future growth prospects.Drive the accomplishment of commercial objectives, enhancing market share, pricing tactics, and profitability.Proactively foresee and address client needs to boost satisfaction and loyalty.Regularly apply sales methodologies and utilize all available sales resources to maximize efficiency.Dedicate 30% of your time to identifying and pursuing significant growth prospects.Formulate strategies and account plans for both short and long-term objectives to protect and expand the account, optimize profitability, and manage risks. Propel sales strategy, goal compliance, and margin preservation.The Key Account Executive is responsible for achieving annual business outcomes, in line with the business plan, sales, contribution margin, and volume.Negotiate pricing and margins (in alignment with the business) using value-based selling techniques to secure the best price and margin for H.B. Fuller.Manage the contact matrix, ensuring that the expectations of all stakeholders are established and fulfilled, both internally and externally.Enhance customer relationships by delivering HBF's value proposition tailored to meet client needs.Identify client requirements and convert them into opportunities.Effectively promote, quantify, and sell value, distinguishing H.B. Fuller in the marketplace and adding value to our clients.Consistently provide value to our clients to foster loyalty and minimize attrition.Offer insights to clients through expert application of skills and knowledge.Anticipate current and future client needs through a profound understanding of their business.Exhibit the ability to educate clients on current market trends and challenges, becoming a strategic partner on key issues such as industry and raw material trends.

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree, preferably in technical/mechanical or marketing fields.At least 5 years of experience in industrial sales within the Construction Adhesives sector; marketing or technical experience may be considered as an alternative.A valid driver's license is required, and willingness to travel is essential.
