About the Amazon Graduate E-Commerce Trainee Program

We are seeking highly motivated and analytically-minded graduates to join our Amazon Graduate E-Commerce Trainee Program in Munich. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and international environment, gaining practical experience and developing your skills in a variety of areas.

Program Overview
  • Duration: 24 months
  • Location: Munich
  • Two Paths Available: Vendor Management (Retail) or Partner Management (Marketplace)
  • Rotation opportunities in various areas: Advertising, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Prime Management, Amazon Business, Amazon Fresh, etc.

Vendor Management (Retail) Focus

In the area of Vendor Management, you will be responsible for the relationship with our strategic suppliers or entire product categories. Your tasks will include:

  • Connecting with new suppliers, negotiating conditions, making business decisions, and developing marketing strategies
  • Working together with international teams from Product Management, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, and Finance to continuously improve the customer experience in your product category
  • Learning all relevant processes of our Retail business
Partner Management (Marketplace) Focus

In Marketplace, we support retailers holistically and internationally to become successful on Amazon. In Partner Management, you will address new customers in a national and international environment, form long-term partnerships, and communicate with top decision-makers. Your tasks will include:

  • Independently advising a wide range of dealers and continuously developing the online business
  • Together with the partners, you will develop individual sales-promoting strategies, among other things, you will create and optimize marketing campaigns and develop customized logistics solutions
  • Carrying out data-based analysis as part of strategic projects and presenting them to management groups
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (ideally with a focus on Sales, Purchasing, or Logistics), Business Informatics, or a similar degree required
  • Minimum two internships completed (ideally in the areas of E-Commerce, Consulting, Sales, or Logistics)
  • Experience in an international environment (ideally through a semester or internship abroad)
  • Experience working with Excel
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise internal and external contacts
  • Possess a high level of commitment and initiative
  • Quickly grasp and enjoy working with numbers and data
  • Ability to think analytically and strategically
