Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Tech Programmer to join our team at Ubisoft Blue Byte. As a key member of our Snowdrop engine development team, you will be responsible for leading a team of tech developers to extend the capabilities of the Snowdrop engine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of tech developers to design, develop, and maintain the Snowdrop engine.
- Collaborate with related departments and game productions to define optimal workflows and technology.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and guidelines for the Snowdrop engine.
- Identify and prioritize technical requirements and implement solutions to meet business needs.
- Collaborate with other Ubisoft studios to extend the capabilities of our in-house technology.
- Define budgets and workflows for all related departments.
- Establish workflows and techniques to improve the overall development process for all departments.
Requirements:
- Lead Graphics Programmer or similar role in at least one AAA title.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
- Self-direction and motivation.
- Excellent communication and good English skills.
- Strong skills in C/C++.
Nice to Have:
- Experience as developer in a related tech area (engine/graphics/physics/...).
- Experience in using different CPU/GPU and memory profiling tools to drive your decisions.
- Experience with platforms where performance/bandwidth restrictions exist.
- Understanding of hardware architecture and details.
