We are currently seeking to enhance our Customer Services Team with an IoT Specialist / Wireless Technology Expert (m/f/d).
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd level helpdesk support for wireless network setup, system expansions, communication issues, disruptions, etc.
- Technical Level 2 support for heat with CRM processing (MS Dynamics) for all water, heat, and cooling meters.
- Conduct on-site service interventions for clients as needed (wireless networks, meters, firmware updates, etc.).
- Engage in internal project work, such as expanding customer service in the area of connectivity solutions.
- Actively develop customer service and create new service concepts.
- Analyze current and future market and user requirements in the connectivity sector.
- Perform technical analysis of customer returns for our intelligent metering systems in the areas of heat, cooling, and water meters (hardware, electronics, sensors, communication via wireless networks such as NB-IoT, LoRaWAN, MBus wired and wireless, etc.).
- Coordinate investigations, documentation, and reporting, and if necessary, liaise with suppliers and quality management for problem resolution.
- Manage service and repair processes using CRM/SNOW and SAP, including RMA.
Your Profile:
- Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering with a focus on communication systems and initial practical experience, or a completed training as an electronics technician (m/f/d), communication electronics technician (m/f/d), or radio electronics technician (m/f/d) with relevant professional experience.
- Additional qualification as a state-certified technician (m/f/d) or master craftsman (m/f/d) is desirable.
- Willingness to acquire missing qualifications and engage in job-related further education.
- Basic knowledge of modern wireless technologies and their applications (NB-IoT, LoRaWAN, etc.).
- Professional experience in the field of heat, cooling, and water meters is an advantage.
- Experience working with CRM/ERP software/systems is beneficial (ServiceNow, SAP, MS Dynamics, or similar).
- Willingness to travel nationally/internationally (up to 30%).
- Driver's license class B.
