We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Deputy Director (m/f/d) for Water Management and Flood Protection to join our team at the Ministerium für Umwelt, Naturschutz und Verkehr des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen.

• Develop and implement strategies for water management and flood protection in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia
• Lead a team of experts in the field of water resources and flood control
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of water management policies
• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders
• Provide expert advice on water management and flood protection to the Ministerium

• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. water resources engineering, hydrology, environmental science)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in water management and flood protection
• Proven track record of developing and implementing effective water management strategies
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders
