About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at Utimaco. As a key member of our infrastructure services team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our global network infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and implement network infrastructure services, including planning, installation, and administration
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for IT Network services, ensuring high availability and performance
- Continuously improve existing network services, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes
- Collaborate with the cloud team to support cloud services and infrastructure
- Participate in M&A projects, integrating new network infrastructure and services
- Assist in supporting the network architecture, documenting processes and procedures according to ITIL and PRINCE2
- Promote information exchange among departments, supporting our internal customers and being a team player within the overall IT
Your Profile
- Strong knowledge of Cisco Catalyst 9xxx, Cisco Nexus Switches, Cisco Firepower Firewalls, and Cisco DNA
- Experience with DCIM & IPAM tools, such as NetBox, and network analysis and penetration testing
- Excellent analytical and structured approach to work, with excellent English communication skills
- Proficiency in German is a plus
