About Us

Hertel Grilltechnik GmbH is a metal fabrication company specializing in the production of sales vehicles and food trucks for Hertel Hähnchen and Hertel Grillgenuss. We are seeking a skilled metal fabricator to join our team.

We are looking for a qualified candidate to succeed our current master metalworker, who will be retiring in the next 3-5 years. The ideal candidate will have a background in metal fabrication and a strong desire to pursue a master's degree in the field.

Requirements
  • Completed education in metal fabrication and relevant work experience
  • Desire to pursue a master's degree in metal fabrication
  • Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CAD software (SolidWorks)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and perfectionism
  • Leadership skills and ability to manage a team of 20 employees
  • Passion for metal fabrication and a strong work ethic
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of metal fabricators, installers, and mechanics
  • Train and mentor junior metal fabricators
  • Develop and implement production plans and schedules
  • Manage projects from initial proposal to final delivery
  • Source and procure materials and equipment
  • Implement quality control measures and improve product quality
  • Train employees on new equipment and processes
  • Manage employee development and training
