Job SummaryWe are seeking a Retail Sales Associate with Substitute Function to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing store operations, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the store manager to ensure seamless store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including store layouts, promotions, and product features.
- Ensure accurate inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise.
- Participate in visual merchandising, including creating attractive store displays and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a sales or customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
