Avionics Test Engineer

Be part of a young, quality-oriented team and contribute to the development of helicopter systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support for simulation and test tool suites required for the validation and verification of helicopter developments.
- Be a focal point for users of the test systems used and ensure their availability and stability.
- Work with subcontractors to maintain operational tools and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Monitor the availability of test systems and services.
- Investigate and resolve detected errors, and coordinate test systems support activities.
- Ensure correct diagnosis of avionics systems, test tools, and IT infrastructure.
- Develop smaller tools for support activities and install new tool suites.
- Manage the diagnosis and solution of problems in the field of test systems for avionics.
- Work with IT to ensure proper IT support and cooperate with the development team in Marignane (France).
- Develop, integrate, maintain, and support test scenarios in the test system for end users.
- Hold a degree in engineering, aerospace technology, avionics, or a comparable field.
- Have relevant work experience in engineering and first experience in project management.
- Be experienced with support and have knowledge of simulations, software tools, and avionics.
- Be confident in handling Windows, UNIX/Linux, and MS Office.
- Have knowledge of programming languages, including Python and C, C++.
- Have a strong customer and service orientation, a precise way of working, and the ability to comply with standards.
- Have a keen interest in continuous improvement and experience in international cooperation.
- Have fluent German and English skills and ideally French skills.
