Position OverviewThe Senior Software Engineer will take charge of the design, coding, and testing of software components, adhering to the established software architecture and requirements within a project.
Candidate Profile- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Over 8 years of relevant experience in product development or technology, particularly in automotive electronics.
- Proficient in classic AUTOSAR standards, including diagnostics, bus systems such as CAN and Ethernet, operating systems, memory management, bootloaders, ECU lifecycle, and network management.
- Experience with AUTOSAR Authoring Tools, such as Vector and Elektrobit.
- Familiarity with Functional Safety environments.
- Extensive knowledge of embedded software development in C/C++ for 16-bit and 32-bit microcontrollers, including platforms like Freescale, PPC, ARM, TI DSP, Infineon, and Renesas.
- Skilled in configuring classic AUTOSAR components and developing application software components.
- Working knowledge of CAN/Ethernet/LIN tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, and CANape.
- Hands-on experience with classic AUTOSAR Authoring tools.
- Experience in developing application/lower layer software components for Embedded Linux; familiarity with GHS Integrity and/or QNX is advantageous.
- Knowledge of white and black box testing methodologies, including unit testing with VectorCast and GTest.
- Experience with disciplined software development processes, including ASPICE and ISO26262.
- Proficient in configuration management tools such as GitHub, CodeBeamer, and PTC.
- Design, implement, test, and debug core and application-specific software requirements for automotive embedded electronic modules in compliance with formal ASPICE standards.
- Handle complex assignments requiring independent problem-solving and decision-making, demonstrating strong technical software skills.
- Assist Software Project Management in planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting on all software-related activities for multiple projects, while providing technical leadership to the development team.
- Effectively communicate technical topics to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in customer technical feature design reviews.
- Evaluate customer and internal requirements through necessary reviews.
- Optimize code for specific targets and compilers.
- Collaborate effectively in a global environment.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Hands-on experience with classic AUTOSAR Authoring tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
