Job Title: Project Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at dSPACE. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for working with our customers to develop and implement simulation solutions for validating and testing perception algorithms using 3D vehicle environment models.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process customer projects related to procedural or measurement-data-based generation of 3D models of vehicle environments
  • Develop and improve the tool chain for generating 3D environments for use in physical sensor simulation
  • Contribute to shaping and consolidating agile processes in a distributed, cross-company team

Requirements:

  • Completed studies or relevant experience in game art, technical art, 3D design, computer science, or comparable qualifications
  • Knowledge of one or more 3D modeling software, ideally Blender, 3ds Max, or Maya
  • Basic knowledge of Unreal/Unreal Editor (Blueprints)
  • Desirable knowledge in methods for procedural generation of 3D environments, programming in Python, and automated driving
  • Individual initiative, analytical and conceptual approach, and enthusiasm for direct customer contact
  • Very good English skills, German skills desirable
