Position Overview

We are seeking a Student Assistant (m/f/d) to contribute to our Digital Learning Lab, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital education. This part-time position allows you to engage in research and innovation projects focused on developing concepts and solutions for digital educational content and learning scenarios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in ongoing research initiatives, including AI-enhanced learning and recommendation systems.
  • Assist the team in translating concepts into functional software solutions and applications, while also focusing on the design and enhancement of User Interfaces (UI) and User Experience (UX).
  • Participate in the creation of educational materials and digital teaching/learning scenarios informed by the latest scientific research and technological advancements.
  • Support the development of scientific publications and undertake independent research tasks, presenting findings in a structured manner.
Qualifications
  • Pursuing studies in fields such as Educational Technology, Psychology, Education Sciences, Pedagogy, Applied Computer Science, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in project work, preferably within software solutions and academic research.
  • Familiarity with UI and UX design principles, along with a keen interest in emerging trends and technologies in the education sector.
  • Ideally knowledgeable about advancements in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and recommendation systems.
  • Strong communication skills in both German and English, with a proactive and independent work ethic.
