Group-Ips is a multidisciplinary project management and engineering company that focuses on delivering high-quality EPCM(V) services for industrial projects. Our expertise spans engineering, procurement, construction management, validation, and maintenance projects.

We act as owner representation and engineering service providers for both new and existing facilities, offering a range of services from conceptual to basic and detailed engineering. Our Expertise

Life Sciences Department

Our Life Sciences department has contributed to more than industrial projects, with CAPEX investments ranging from k€ to +M€. We conform to GMP standards and optimize product, people, and waste logistics as well as energy efficiency in our architectural approach.

Position Summary

As a Project Manager at Group-Ips, you will team up with our International and German Business Unit Managers for Life Science. Together, we aim to become the leader in Life Science Engineering, executing projects in 7D-BIM with the best available project management tools and engineering technology.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing diverse projects, ranging in scale from small to large. Management tasks may include multiple phases and/or specializations, such as:

  • Project feasibility: process description, plant layout, overall Time Schedule, procurement Strategy, financial plan
  • Project preparation phase: investment analysis, basic engineering, permitting, financing, and procurement
  • Project realization phase: project management; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, operational management

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Master of Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven experience with international engineering projects within the Pharmaceutical industry
  • Leadership experience
  • Experience with training and mentoring junior staff members
  • Ability to work with diverse, multi-disciplinary, and multi-cultural groups
  • Excellent writing and verbal skills in German and English
  • Ability to speak French or a central European language is an advantage
