Job Summary:
- Develop and implement a long-term strategy for integrating UX research into all relevant business areas.
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary research team, including hiring, developing, and mentoring employees.
- Ensure the quality and relevance of research projects by establishing standards, best practices, and processes.
- Collaborate closely with other departments, particularly product management, design, marketing, data, and development, to integrate research findings into product decisions and define the overall scope of collaboration.
- Identify and prioritize research topics based on the needs of the company and users, both for existing topics and products and innovative new areas in discovery.
- Evaluate and optimize research methods and tools continuously to ensure they meet current requirements and technologies. Our high standards for excellent research are particularly high.
- Represent the research team at the management level and communicate the strategic importance of UX research for business success.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Human Factors, Psychology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in UX research, particularly in a leadership position.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategies for integrating UX research into business processes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex research findings effectively and influence decision-makers.
- Deep understanding of various UX research methods and techniques and their application across different phases of the product development cycle.
- Analytical and clear thinking, with the ability to understand complex problems and make informed decisions.
- High level of initiative and ability to work in a dynamic, agile environment and adapt quickly to changes.
- Excellent German and good English language skills, both written and spoken.
