SAP Senior Inhouse Consultant SD/MM

Full-time in Cologne

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Optimization and Improvement: Provide expert advice and support to Process Owners and Key Users in optimizing and improving end-to-end procurement and sales processes within the SAP system.
  • Process Consistency and Development: Ensure the consistency and development of procurement and sales processes, including the optimization of business processes and participation in IT projects.
  • Process Expertise and Implementation: Provide expert advice to leaders, Process Owners, and Key Users, specify practical solutions for the existing system landscape, and be responsible for their implementation, including test management, training of end-users, and comprehensive documentation.
  • Digital Transformation and Business Model Development: Actively support the implementation of digital transformation to present sustainable business models.
  • Customizing and Implementation: Take responsibility for customizing and implementing requirements within the MM and SD modules in our R/3 and S/4 systems.
  • Project Participation and Support: Contribute responsibly to exciting, modular SAP projects, with a focus on branch-specific order processing procedures, from the first request to implementation.
  • Coordination and Support: Coordinate and manage external service providers and provide 2nd-level support.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Hold a completed degree in computer science or business informatics or a comparable education.
  • SAP Experience: Have at least 5 years of SAP experience in the SD, MM area (customizing, projects, support).
  • Collaboration, Communication, and Teamwork: Possess collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills, as well as independent and structured work habits, and a willingness to work and reliability.
  • S/4HANA Experience: Experience with S/4HANA is desirable.
