Position Summary:

As a Medicare Sales Consultant at CareSource, you will play a vital role in advancing our sales initiatives and enrollment objectives for the Medicare Advantage offerings within your designated area. Your main responsibility will be to work closely with management to ensure the successful attainment of targets while complying with relevant state and federal guidelines.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating educational and enrollment opportunities in collaboration with various community organizations.
  • Deliver presentations and engage in marketing efforts in accordance with established communication and marketing strategies.
  • Support outreach initiatives and programs that align with regulatory standards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on our Medicare Advantage offerings.
  • Build and sustain relationships to enhance sales performance.
  • Guide and inform Medicare beneficiaries about their available product options.
  • Consistently achieve or surpass monthly sales objectives.
  • Perform administrative tasks and maintain necessary reporting systems.
  • Travel frequently to participate in events and sales meetings.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in Medicare/Medicaid sales or commercial insurance sales is essential.
  • A minimum of one year in a sales or account management position within the insurance sector is required.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in Relationship Management tools and Sales Activity Reporting.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Federal and State regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and engage with diverse groups.
  • Experience with Sales Force Automation systems.
  • Exceptional presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and territory management capabilities.
  • Valid Insurance License in Health and Medicare is mandatory.
  • Understanding of CareSource's brand and values.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Bilingual proficiency is preferred.

Licensure and Certifications:

  • Valid Insurance License in Health and Medicare.
  • Current Medicare Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (MFWA) Certification.
  • Additional requirements may apply as per company policies.

Work Environment:

  • This is a mobile work position with travel obligations.
  • Residence within the assigned territory is necessary.
  • Frequent travel may be required.
  • Utilization of standard office equipment.
  • Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends as necessary.

Compensation:
