About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Specialist to join our team at GULP – experts united. As an IT Specialist for Application and License Management, you will be responsible for administering and monitoring license and maintenance contracts, managing licenses for technical applications in plant engineering, and coordinating license requirements and extension of maintenance and service contracts.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and monitor license and maintenance contracts
  • Manage licenses for technical applications in plant engineering
  • Coordinate license requirements and extension of maintenance and service contracts
  • Calculate license and maintenance costs and prepare cost distribution
  • Coordinate the necessary approval and procurement processes
  • Initiate contract extensions
  • Prepare and coordinate contract negotiations
  • Coordinate data protection and information security issues with relevant contacts when concluding new contracts
  • Administer and monitor application and license services in collaboration with those responsible for the infrastructure
  • Prepare installation instructions and carry out installations of technical applications
  • Process user requests and incidents via the ticket system, coordinating support requests with the software manufacturer's support team

Your Profile

  • IT specialist or comparable training/experience
  • Independent and reliable working style
  • Very good communication and teamwork skills
  • Good analytical and conceptual skills
  • Understanding of and interest in economic issues as well as data protection and information security topics
  • Good written and spoken German and English language skills
  • Proficiency with typical Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Additionally advantageous:
  • Experience in the plant construction/engineering sector
  • Interest in legal issues
  • SAP knowledge
