About the Role
We're seeking a motivated Mechatroniker:in for operational maintenance to join our maintenance team at our Wiesbaden location. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining the functionality of our machines and equipment. You'll work primarily in the day shift, but may also be required to work in the evening shift or on weekends and holidays as part of our rotating shift schedule.
Responsibilities
- Locate, diagnose, and resolve errors on production equipment
- Perform maintenance and repair work on electrical, control, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as mechanical components of our machine and equipment park
- Take on calibration and preventive maintenance tasks
- Ensure equipment safety before performing repair or maintenance work
- Support the commissioning of new production equipment
- Perform minor technical modifications to equipment
- Independently process work orders in the ERP system (SAP-PM)
Requirements
- Completed training as a Mechatroniker:in or equivalent vocational training
- Independent, organized, and motivated work style
- Solution-oriented thinking and enthusiasm for teamwork
- Strong sense of safety awareness
- Knowledge of SPS and PLS
- High level of reliability and sense of responsibility
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to new situations
- Fluent German language skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Ideal experience in the chemical or related industry
- Basic English skills desirable
