Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team as a Facility Management Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper condition of buildings and technical building systems, optimizing their technical condition, and performing regulatory and design functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular technical condition assessments to ensure the proper condition of buildings and technical building systems.
  • Optimize the technical condition of buildings and technical building systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Perform regulatory and design functions to ensure approval conformity, standards, warranty management, and technological requirements are met.
  • Plan and assess the financial requirements of all necessary refurbishment measures.
  • Plan, commission, and manage refurbishment measures, including the financial resources provided.
  • Review the performance of external FM service providers.
  • Support users in all technical and infrastructural matters relating to the building.
  • Manage the requirements of a construction project in the early project phase.
  • Support new construction projects from a property management perspective until the property is handed over.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies in architecture, civil engineering, supply engineering, or facility management.
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of facility management or real estate project management.
  • Understanding of controlling and purchasing systems and processes.
  • Understanding of user processes.
  • Good knowledge of German and English.
  • Methodical and structured way of working.
  • Team and communication skills in a national and international environment.
  • Self-initiative, assertiveness, and negotiating skills.
