Senior Consultant Digitalization in Procurement

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant Digitalization in Procurement to join our team at h&z. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for driving digital transformation initiatives and delivering strategic solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in project teams with international and national clients to develop Target Operating Models for procurement, select suitable system platforms, and design harmonizing processes.
  • Work on technical projects in purchasing or related areas, such as Supply Chain Management (SCM), to drive process improvements and implement innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their procurement needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.

Requirements

  • A completed master's degree from a well-known university.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in a management consultancy or consulting area of an IT consultancy.
  • Functional knowledge in procurement, including a deep understanding of procurement systems, IT architectures, and process know-how.
  • Experience with SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Jaggaer, or other procurement systems is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English, German, and possibly another foreign language.
  • Strong analytical and systems-oriented thinking, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
