Position: IT Desktop Support Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and resolving issues related to computer operating systems and peripheral devices.
  • Proficient in various PC operating systems, including Windows 7, 8, and 10.
  • Executing hardware and software installations, with a solid understanding of deployment tools such as SCCM.
  • Familiarity with Standard Operating Environment (SOE) and group policies.
  • Providing printer support and troubleshooting services.
  • Strong knowledge of installation and troubleshooting of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on experience with a diverse range of technologies and services.
  • Advanced technical skills, including effective troubleshooting for Windows, Apple, and virtual operating systems.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and resources to meet expectations in high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism.

Basic Understanding of:

Qualifications:

  • At least one of the following certifications: PC/laptop OEM maintenance certification, CompTIA A+ certification, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in desktop support, or Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Open to beginner students and IT students with a relevant background.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
